Using VLC 2.0.8 I was able to play my 5.1 flac files and verify that was what I was hearing by going to Audio > Audio Device > 5.1. In VLC 2.1 (and VLC nightly) this option is no longer available. Is there anything I can do? I can't really tell if these 5.1 tracks are playing properly or not (old computer).
