2.1.0 - not able to select "A/52 over SP/DIF", can't get 5.1

Postby kayadash » 27 Sep 2013 22:13

Under old revisions of VLC, I have to select "A/52 over SP/DIF" under Audio Device in the right click menu to get 5.1 sound. The option is missing in 2.1.0 and no combination of audio settings results in my logitech z-5500 seeing a 5.1 signal.

Please advise, thank you.

Nope it seems to be broken for me and some other people, it wont pass through the DTS/5.1 it decodes it to stereo.
