DXVA causes noise in speakers

Postby Xyzzy » 04 Jun 2013 18:38

Hello,

When DXVA is enabled, a hearable noise appears in speakers. The sound changes when displayed picture changes, it seems it is most prominent when dark picture is displayed.

Any way to eliminate it? Mobo+sound: MSI Z77MA-G45, graphics: MSI R7770-2PMD1GD5

TIA

This is a hardware or driver issue. There is no possibility to fix on VLC side. Just disable hardware acceleration.
