MKV Video lag in VLC, not in other players

When playing video, doesnt matter in which format, VLC tends to lag when theres are still images scrolling or zooming (like ending credits, zooming in and out on details...). Audio plays fine, but video looks like it missing frames

I tried same videos in Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player and everything is fine, but no matter what settings I choose in IVL it still lags. Did anyone encounter this problem? Thanks for help.

Windows 7 64bit, I tried bout 32bit and 64bit version of VLC

Not sure if you want messages from whole video or just the part, where it is lagging, anyway VLC is version 2.0.6 and OS Win 7 Home Premium 64bit

Edit: Just tried with FRAPS, in VLC video is slowed to 20FPS, in other players it is constant 30FPS

VLC 2.1.0 - Problem remains and audio is really funny now (off sync, sluttering)

It seems that KMPlayer has the same problem (with internal codecs) and in any other player that use external codecs it runs fine... any way to use external codecs in VLC?

Edit: After converting *.mkv to *.mp4 problem dissapears, so I think it has to do something with mkv codec VLC use

It's not directly about FPS, he means the scrolling of the credits is not smooth.
And yes, I can reproduce that, the scrolling is quite jumpy with VLC whilst it does not occur with other players.

Maybe it's worth a new ticket on the VLC Trac.

Well unless you can found where exactly is the bug and fix it, you can't solve that but it will be investigated. It's the first time I see the core silently dropping frames.
