VLC training?

This isn't really a specific "troubleshooting" question, but I don't know where else to list it. I am looking for someone that could provide VLC training for criminal defense investigators in Iowa on 6/20/13. I think we could do this online with skype to avoid travel expenses. If you are knoledgable in VLC, and could educate my coworkers, PLEASE contact me or post here.

What exactly do you need?

I would need someone that could show us exactly what VLC can do, and how we can use it. Mostly I would think that we would want to be able to edit clips, add / delete audio, zoom, insert clips into powerpoint to present to a jury, capture streaming video... I'm new to VLC so I'm not sure what all we can do with it.

Whatever we can do, cut out a piece, voice over... I want someone to show us what this software can do and how to do it.

I'm looking for a training on the vlc api. My goal is to understand the api layers and architecture to be able to write and debug vlc pluggins. Do you know where I can find this kind of training ?
