Provide http stream to others.

Hey, i was wondering.
Is there a way to create an online stream from our machines and send a link to our fiends to view? It shouldnt be hard to implement.
We would chose the video we want to share. Then VLC would generate a link for us to send.

It would look something like this:
http://123.12.123.123/video.name.you.insert.in.vlc
There should be an option to chose if it should use the the video filename or the video name specified inside of it.
We should also be allowed to enter whatever name we want for the link to be generated.

They could stream from the address itself with a web player you would include or from their own vlc player.

Any thoughts? :D
