I know there was talk of an app for win RT but I haven't been able to find anything conclusive.
Will this app come to fruition or is it still up in the air?
Unfortunately I bought one of said tablets and there's no app free or otherwise that can play mkv files with DDT audio.
"Mobile HD" can play an mkv file if the audio is AC3 but if it's DDT then you only get the video with no sound.
It's not a free app and quite frankly isn't as good as VLC is.
Any info would be appreciated on this, especially an eta (if there is one).
