VLC Not autoplaying full screen on second monitor

Postby DotPdf » 15 Dec 2012 21:03

I've set Display 2 in VLC's settings but VLC keeps playing video on my primary monitor. I have been able to send the audio to the TV but the video still plays on my primary monitor.

Please help!

I'm having the same problem here. Laptop with 64bit Windows 7 Tried VLC 2.02 and 2.04.

Had it working on an older laptop with XP, but this other laptop refuses to cooperate.

I have three computers (Win 7 X64 Ultimate) that I try to run auto second display on and none of them work. I have to drag the video window on to the second display then maximize it, after that it seems to work yet not always and with a small player control strip that I have to drag back to the primary monitor.

I would like to force second display presentation like the program "Tools/Preferences/Video/Display Device" offers and keep the full Video Lan user interface with play list on the primary monitor
