bookmark options are greyed out

Postby jbclem » 17 Nov 2012 13:52

I'm using Windows 2000 and VLC 0.9.4 . I'd like to use the bookmark option to mark some places on an audio file, but they are greyed out (inside the Playback tab). Can someone tell me if there is a way to make bookmarks work, I haven't been able to find anything under Preferences. Since there is a bookmark option, I assume that this version of VLC supports bookmarks. Any suggestions?

John

I must be the only person wanting to use bookmarks...is anyone else knowledgeable about this?

Nice try, but it didn't work. I have discovered that hitting Ctr-B will bring up the bookmarks window (even with the options greyed out), and I can create a bookmark, and it works...until I close the program. When I start VLC up again and try Ctr-B, the bookmark window is blank, the bookmark I created is forgotten. So I have it working now, as long as I don't close the program. I guess that's progress??
