Hi,
Have a fairly odd problem - suddenly, yesterday, VLC player became non-responsive. Yes, it plays media files - but that is it. I cannot access or use or use any of the controls, tabs, preferences, options - nothing happens (ie, when you click on them no menus appear). Nor can I exit or close down VLC player, I have to use Task Manager to do that. Yes, I've re-installed VLC player a few times - no luck. I've re-installed my video & audio drivers & K-Lite Codec Pack Standard - no luck. Even stranger, the same happens on both Windows XP 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit (I have a dual boot set-up, obviously).
Any ideas as to what is going on?
Here are my tech specs: XP Home+Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) \ Intel Core2 Duo E6750 \ Abit IP-35 Pro \ Antec 900 Ultimate Gamer \ Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro \ 4gb Corsair Twin2X2048 XMS Xtreme Performance (800mhz) \ Gainward GTX460 IGB 'GS' \ Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer \ Samsung SpinPoint 2TB \ Samsung Writemaster SH-S223Q \ Corsair CMPSUHX 620w PSU \ Acer 24" X243H \ Netgear DG834 v4.
