Frame advance or other slomo feature available?

Is ther a "frame-by-frame" advance feature available? Moving the slider bar does not seem to advance the image and have found no frame advance controls.

(Win 98SE, 350Mhz 128MEG antqwue but functional PC)

OK - justa wondering.

Now how about a frame grabber that grabs, say every first, second, 4th or 8th frame, and stores and writes it to a image file? Sort of a poor man's frame-by-framer...

that would be an output module..

a video output module..

video -> file output

a poor man's frame-by-framer..
