1.prevent cursor appear on the screen while playing

2.allow only one instance

No, it's a wanted behaviour to hide the cursor and there is no way to disable that.

2.allow only one instance
yes, there is an option inside VLC's preferences to activate that (sorry, I cannot remember where, since I use Windows only 3 times a year). Or use OSX :P , it's always on there.

2.allow only one instance
  • Settings - Preferences - Advanced - Other - enable "Allow only one running instance" in the "Performance Options" section.
