XSUBs in VLC 2.0.3

Postby Pic889 » 03 Sep 2012 11:08

Hi there,

I just installed VLC 2.0.3 in a friend's computer (Vista 64bit, an ATI graphics card), and the XSUBs in a Divx avi file were displayed broken (they had horizontal red or black lines above the text, didn't have time to take a screenshot). The same file worked fine in my computer's VLC 2.0.1.

Can some please download this file (test.divx) and play it with 2.0.3 and confirm whether XSUBs work in 2.0.3? (aka confirm the problem in my friend's PC was a rare bug -probably due to old GPU drivers- and not a significant bug). It's nice to know before upgrading to 2.0.3

Thanks

Hi Pic889,

I confirm what you asked : here are 2 pics of your divx file, viewed with Vlc 1.1.11 and 2.0.3
On my old PC, subtitles are correct in 1.1.11 (1st pic) but horizontal lines appear above them in 2.0.3 (2nd pic)
