a way to log now-playing song titles and artist names?

Postby freenode5 » 21 Jul 2012 15:37

When I stream an AAC source, it shows the artists and song titles in the status-bar.
is there any way on windows that I can configure some parameters to dump the 'now playing' info of every song from a stream into a text file?
All I want to log is the names and artists of each new song that plays.

Thanks.

there seems to be an option for logging under the advanced settings but I can't get it to work. I've read other people having a similar problem. Maybe this will give you a better mystery to solve.
It might be relevant that I'm using windows7 (which is notorious for write access issues)

Still not possible ? Isn't there any plugin for that?
