wierd play color

any time i play a video .avi .mpeg or so forth it is showing it in a way that makes it look like its blured. can anyone tell me whats happening i would like to know whats wrong i don't think its your player becuse it happens in all of my players.

Have you installed latest display adapter and chipset drivers?

It's the overlay brightness/contrast settings of your graphics card. You can often change them in your settings.
