VLC 2.02 setup file is corrupt!

VLC 2.02 setup file is corrupt!
Cant install it!(try every mirror)

A ghost instance is still running in the background.
Reboot your computer and try again.

I have this same problem as well.
The corruption isn' t from a ghost instance of the vlc player, if that was the case you can kill it in the task manager, I have checked the task manager and found no ghost instance of the player, also have rebooted and get this same problem.
I think the 2.02 doesn't do a proper job of uninstalling the previous version of the program and hangs up on the reinstall because something is still there that it can't handle.
