opacity

Postby doner21 » 17 Jun 2012 16:44

Hi Ive just discovered the Qt opacity level this enables me to make a video transparent so i can see through the video. i was wondering if it is possible to to make specific co lours transparent while allowing other to remain normal. i'm thinking of this as i have karaoke g files with black and sometimes blue backgrounds i want the words to be bold and in full contrast while the black background remains transparent. the reasons for this is i would like play another instance of a vlc movie behind the words.

any help would be much appreciated

Donald
