Need a helping hand. DVD is not playing!

Postby Slanesh666 » 04 Aug 2005 01:54

Hello, anybody out there at this time? I need some help. Very quickly.

I just tried to view an origin DVD (Full Metal Jacket), but it won't start any way I tried. Neither by "Open File" nor by "Open Disc".

In the message-box is this error-message: :?

dvdread error: DVDRead cannot open source: D:
vcd error: could not read TOCHDR
vcd error: no movie tracks found
cdda error: could not read TOCHDR
cdda error: no audio tracks found
main error: no suitable access module for `dvd://D:'

Thank You for any help in this case.

Personally i'm guessing your DVD drive is not D:
This is a common problem.
Try opening the right drive letter.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

Jesus, How stupid can one man be?
That's it. I was blind. The wrong drive letter. :?

I think that makes me the DAU of the month, or something else.
Oh, that's a german term, in English it should be: "silliest user to expect".

Sorry !
