GUI is the Graphical User Interface.
I was able to get past this stage by going through all the different encoder types in the Activate Transcoding. Many of the types there crashed the program when I used them. The program failed to execute at that point. I found a couple that do work. When I mean "work," I mean the program goes on without crashing. Whether it[program] is actually encoding the video stream, I presume it is because I can see the stream on my test computer.
However, the computer is on my same network.
For people outside my network, I had my friend download a copy of VLC Media Player and he tried to see the stream but kept getting the Unable to open MRL
http://96.254.61.85:8080. He lives over 1800 miles from me, so I think that is a sufficiant person outside my network source.
I originally thought that maybe the problem was in the Forward Port of my router. But I have checked and rechecked it several times. I used the same procedure that I used for Ventrilo. I have Ventrilo Server running on my system on a different port. People outside my network can see the Ventrilo port find. Well, they are able to connect with out any issue.
I tried several other options like HTTP, RTS, but the internet did not recognize RTS that. Isuspect it is a router issue, but I am not sure for my problem.
