steam dvd menus

hi,
using simple dvd format, I can stream a dvd to other pc, but when I try to use dvd menu, then select steam output and enter parameters, vlc stopped with error? what should I do?

since I can't stream those dvd disc with menu!

You can't stream DVD menus. If only you could... it would be awesome.

VLC coders, is there no way this could be achieved???

Someone is working on it but its not planned any time soon in an official release.

that mean if I got a DVD with menu, I can't use vlc media player to stream.

I can only stream those DVD without menu option!?

should be no trouble to stream a menu'ed DVD, but only in simpledvd style..

use dvdsimple:/ instead of dvd:/ to open your dvd. If that doesn't launch the right chapter/title, have a look at the play howto ( http://videolan.org/doc/ ) for more info on how to set those.
