Windows 7 Taskbar thumbnail preview off centered view

Recently (after updating to VLC 2.0.1 TwoFlower), VLC's windows 7 taskbar thumbnail preview is broken.

Thumbnail is shown but its offcentered. It corrects itself if I resize the vlc window manually.
But again its broken if I go to Fullscreen and exit.

Is the problem on my side or its in general ??

Does it help if you use Direct2D video output module?

I also have a similar problem.
Video previews don't span the entire thumbnail window.
Just as OP stated, the problem fixes itself if the main video window is moved/resized but resets when entering fullscreen/exiting VLC.
I suspect it has something to do with the "Resize interface to video size" option because thumbnails work when it's checked. I currently have it unchecked.

I'm having the same problem using VLC 2.0.2. The "Resize interface to video size" option has no effect for me.

I have noticed the same problem and have tried setting the video output to Direct2D. The first time a video starts the preview looks fine, but once you double click to full screen and then double click again to normal size, the taskbar hover preview is off center. Also when it is in full screen, the hover preview shows only a small portion of the video. It is like the preview for normal size and full screen are switched. I full screen on my second monitor and my taskbar is only on my primary, so that is how i know about the full screen. The following photos tell the story.

Still not fixed in 2.0.4.

The thumbnail looks fine in window mode but gets off centered when switching to fullscreen mode. It stays this way until I move or resize the window.
