I have made several DVDs using a Panasonic DVD recorder. Whenever I try to play them, all I get is the DVDs title menu. Clicking on one of the menu items causes the video window to close. Messages are as follows:

VLC says that the NAV packets (The DVD specific packets), are incorrect. Without having one of these discs and doing some pretty hefty low level debuging, there is no way to find out what the exact reason is. (ergo to discover if the disc is incorrectly created, or wether it uses a corner case scenario which is not supported in VLC).

The fact that other players might play a certain DVD is no prove btw that a disc is correctly created.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
