2.0.1 late frames (verbose2 included) [resolved]

Postby MassMan » 23 Mar 2012 21:00

Hi, I've enjoyed vlc ever since I discovered it, but lately it's been skipping frames and stuttering.
I've tried resetting to default settings, but it seems to make no difference.
I've tried playing some movies with a different player (kmplayer) and it didn't have any stuttering.

I've probably included too much info, but rather too much than too little ;)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the OpenGL video output module work any better?

OpenGL made my cpu go 100%, but DirectX seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the link :)
