2.0.0 problem

Postby nulkki » 15 Mar 2012 17:22

Hello

I have a strange video playback problem with my new computer Asus N73S. I tried to play a .mov file on 2.0.0 but the colors were all --please stay polite-- up, the whole video was blurry, laggy and pixelated, completely unwatchable. For some reason, the same video works with 1.1.11, with only a slight "delay", like the movement of the picture isn't as smooth as normally. I also tried to play an avi file on 2.0.0 and it had some spikes now and then. The same video would play smoothly on winamp but with fast forward speed and no sound. Help please!

I have the same issue. The video went pixelated and kinda silver colored at times.
Windows 7 x64
Core i3 2100 @ 3.1Ghz
8Gb RAM

Video is from a Canon S100, 1280x720 30fps

Thanks

Update. Just tried a nightly build (http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win ... -win64.exe) and the problem went away.
Whatever changed, it was for the better. Can't wait until 2.1 is released!
Thanks all for all of the hard work in bringing us VLC.
