I havn't seen this question posted elsewhere. When I stop a video, the player gets "large" and covers the whole computer screen. I just want it to stay in the "small" size when I stop a video.
I don't know what I did for this to start happening-----I didn't change my preferences. I also tried everything in preferences to correct, but I've been unsuccesful.
Any help is appreciated.

Manually resize the window then exit VLC, and it will stay like that next time.

I've had this problem for the last year or so. It was present in version 1.XX and seems to now be in 2.0. It happens about every tenth (or so) video I play and while not a major issue it is irritating.
If this could be fixed it would be most appreciated.
