VLC 2.0 for Win Video Snapshot problem

Tried numerous times to use the video snapshot camera icon in the toolbar in 2.0 like I have in the past for 1.1.11. No matter what I did nothing happened. Uninstalled 2.0 and reinstalled 1.1.11and had no problems. As soon as I clicked on the camera icon in the toolbar I seen the snapshot in the upper left corner of the vlc screen. Guess 2.0 has a bug.

Open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2), then press the snapshot camera icon. The message log will complain.
