Network Stream Randomly Stops Playing

Postby icefall5 » 22 Feb 2012 04:57

I listen to some German things online for a class. All of the links are direct links; they're not dynamically generated or anything like that. When I listen to them via network stream, however, VLC randomly quits, usually about 2/3 of the way through. It's rather annoying. This happened on 1.1.9, the 2.0 RC, and now on the final release of 2.0. I did not listen to these (or any network stream for that matter) on anything earlier than 1.1.9, so I cannot say whether it's new to 1.1.9.

My error log is at this link; I don't know enough to troubleshoot it. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Huh. Okay, I'll try the obvious antivirus disable and some other tweaks. My apologies for not trying them to begin with. Thank you!
