This has been happening since version 1.0.6+ per this thread ( viewtopic.php?f=14&t=78191 )

There was a bug report that was closed for "worksforme": http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/3836

This was also brought up here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=85181 (links long dead I think).....

I just downloaded and installed the lastest 2.0 RC in hopes it would finally resolve this problem - it does not. Do the above menus play properly for anyone when opening the VIDEO_TS.IFO file? It happens to me on multiple PCs (Vista/Windows 7) and I always get complains when sharing DVDs I author regarding this issue.

That's w/ the above example files? Mediafire is showing 0 downloads (guess it could be wrong).

I checked my codecs in FFDShow and they're libmpeg2 as well but I'll fiddle with things.....or stick w/ MPC
