subtitles show wrong letters

Postby MicoMaco » 29 Jan 2012 14:57

VLC version: 1.1.11.

I have set the default subtitle coding to Eastern European (windows-1250) but instead of č,š,ž I get question marks (?). I'm from Slovenia. I tried also other types of coding but I always get the "?" for these letters: č,š,ž. Maybe I should use Central European? But there is no such option in the Default coding options.

Hmm, something strange has happened. I did nothing since my last check of the subtitle display (which was wrong at letters č,š,ž). I came back to my PC after few hours and I checked again. Now it works. Strange...
