vlc 1.20 Nightly Bugs?

am just curious to know if these are reported bugs

1. minimize the player during playback stops playback

2. playing avi files crashes the player with a visual basic C++ Runtime libary warning

Could you try :
* Tools -> preferences set show settings to all
* Input/Codecs -> Video Codecs -> FFMPEG then set Threads from 0 to 1 (and/or use hardware acceleration if available).
* Save
* Restart vlc
* Retest

This is a feature. Deactivate the preference.

It prevents multithread decoding with ffmpeg. This way vlc acts the way it used to in the previous versions.
