Video controls to popup in fullscreen ONLY with mouse moveme

Postby prr » 30 Nov 2011 21:15

I installed portable VLC on my usb drive, and noticed one thing that I really like about it--in fullscreen, when I am moving my mouse, the player controls automatically appear.

Is there a particular setting that I can check to get this to happen in my own laptop's version of VLC? This is exactly what I'd like.

Settings that control fullscreen controller are under Tools -> Preferences (Show settings: all) Interface -> Main interfaces -> Qt

Found it. I had earlier seen the player controls in fullscreen, and just assumed that those controls stayed there, instead of dissappearing after a few seconds. I checked the option that said something like Show Controls in Fullscreen View (earlier I had unchecked it).

All is well. Thanks.
