Need to Move Between Chapters

Postby Cheemag » 21 Oct 2011 13:12

I need to move between chapters, but cannot as I can find no way to move the appropriate
tools from View > Customise Interface to the player.
Regards,
Cheemag.

Not so much a matter of doesn't work, but how do I do it? The FAQs don't seem to mention View>Customise.

I can compose a line of tools, but then what? How do I get them on to the player?
Regards,
Cheemag.

The buttons for Next & Prev are standard to the VLC interface
but they appear only if they are needed (possible to use):

(I disabled Overlay temporarily to make the screenshots)

You can also use:
Shift+P Shift+N (Chapters)
Shift+O Shift+B (Titles)
Shift+M (DVD Menu)

Thanks. OK so if there are no chapters in the video, then the chapters tool won't appear.

How about Snapshot? It should be possible in all circumstances, but I cannot get it onto the player.

Snapshot is standard button - just Enable/Check:
View -> Advanced Controls

And you can add it to "Fullscreen Controller" but it will take Snapshot in the original 1:1 size
