Ripping DVD: Video, no audio

Postby nasruddin » 18 Apr 2011 09:53

Windows 7, 64bit; vlc 119 (also same with vista, 118)

I can make a video that only vlc can play with audio, by switching the default profile "video - h.264 + AAC(MP4)" to audio codec mp3.
Windows media player or quicktime can't deal with this result.

Windows media player can play the video with the default audio codec (mp4); but no sound.

Both vlc & windows media can play the dvd with sound.

Any ideas? Thanks.
