vlc postproc-q cmd-line problems

Postby saawan » 14 Oct 2010 02:54

i am using latest version, and finding that vlc does not honor --postproc-q=6 command line option (vlc.exe --postproc-q=6 filename).

as a result i have to always use menu to set it video -> postprocessing -> 6, then i see the the effect. otherwise it stays as "disabled"

can you please guide me what is going wrong here.

OK, I've found the solution: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=85634#p283965
But this is very inobvious. I think the option "Video quality post-processing level" in simple preferences view must enable/disable the postproс filter automatically. Otherwise threr is no sense in that option.
