Command line question

Postby joro » 09 Mar 2011 04:09

I keep autorun disabled for security purposes, but I'd like VLC to open the DVD in the drive when I start it.

I tried adding D:// and D:/ after the opening string in the shortcut, but they didn't work.

Is there a way for VLC to go directly to the DVD and play it when I open VLC, without having to click on open media then open disc and then press start?

(System: Windows 7 Ultimate x64)

vlc.exe cdda:///D:
Thank you for the reply.

I tried putting that in the shortcut, but I got this error message:

Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'cdda:///D:'. Check the log for details.

Can you please tell me how to create a shortcut that includes the command line as you have suggested?
