Totally wierd subtitle font. Please help

Postby Red_Romanov » 14 Feb 2011 13:51

I've got this problem a long while ago. When I play some .mkv videos it shows strange font instead of the one I choose from the options. I tried changing the basic and advanced options, reinstalling, and even searched throughout the Font folder for that font but found nothing like it.

It is terrible. I really hate this font because I think some kind of virus or someone made this, and I can't read anything at all.

Some mkv embed their own font.

These two videos comes from very different places and when played in Windows Media Player they use different fonts so I think they're not embedded that way. I think there are something remaining in VLC cache and causes the problem. I formatted the computer recently because of some viruses and the font in VLC went normal.
