Media Library not saving..

I keep adding folders/files to my VLC media library, but every time I close and reopen VLC there is nothing in the Media Library anymore. Is there something that I am doing incorrectly? Is there some hidden setting? I made sure that within the Advanced settings that the box next to Use Media Library is checked is there something else I am missing?

VLC doesn't seem to be able to save it...

VLC ML is too limited for now.

Lol, so what is the point of the media library even existing within VLC if it doesn't save. I guess the playlists will have to do for now...

It does work for me, but is still too limited, IMVHO

It does save folders that I have in media library, but does not save changes that I do. (for example. meta file or try to add track number section). When I restart my VLC-player all changes are gone. Is there anything I can do?

If the media library works for you is there something you did differently than what I said I did?

Try making the changes in the original file in your computer and if needed, re-add them to vlc. Just a guess though. It worked for me when one of my folders went "missing" from vlc some how.

I solved this by deleting (renaming) ml.xspf in the %appdata%/vlc folder (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\vlc in windows 7)
and reopening vlc
