Is it worth it to upgrade from 1.1.2 to 1.1.5?

From what I have read the later versions are all very buggy.

The biggest problem I have with VLC aside from a lot of crashes is that often times when using the frame by frame feature the picture freezes. Hitting play or stop does not work and VLC has to be closed and re-opened.

There are also some crashes where after VLC is closed it still remains running in task manager.

Maybe these will be cleared up. I just do not want to find a bunch of newer and worse problems.

normally vlc should run very stable
u could use another player
but i dont want to advertise a competing player here :-)

Try it, you can always go backwards if it doesn't work for you.

I'm using 1.1.4 as 1.1.5 refuses to work on both of my PCs (It refuses to close and needs to be killed on one and on the other stops playing video after a random amount of time and then crashes if you try and exit), which is strange for a version which is described as a "bug-fix" release.
