Odd VLC 1.1.5 install
Odd thing happened during install. I download (Run) and when done, the install pop up soon says 1.1.5 is already installed, would I like to uninstall it. So I open VLC just to check and it's 1.1.4. Then I go ahead and install and now it shows as 1.1.5. Just to be certain, I search for vlc.exe and find only one, the one just installed. So it all ended well, but anyone else see this?

it should prompt you (when installing 1.1.5) to uninstall 1.1.4, if it's already installed. Is this what you saw happen?

No. If it had, I wouldn't have written and called it odd. And, since I turned down the uninstall, wouldn't I have then found a dual install or some obvious remnants?

You would see two copies iff you chose a new installation folder for 1.1.5
