Question regarding Close Caption options

Postby wakelt » 07 Oct 2010 20:11

Greetings All;

I've been enjoying VLC for a few years now. I've recently come upon the need to
use its close caption facility.

Why are there 4 close caption options: close caption 1, close caption 2.....close caption 4 ??

What is the difference between the 4 options ?

thanks,
walter

j-b thanks for the captions, but we need an option or preference to display them so this can be automatic rather than just manually thru the video tab. I am trying to stream these files using a command line and have no way of including the captions without an option. Thanks.
