Problems with the library.. But quick solution?

Postby zepply » 10 Oct 2010 13:59

Hey there guys.

I was wondering, how do you make the "medialibrary" scan through the folders and add the SONG files, and not the folders which it is?
So you can see all the music at once, like in iTunes and Windows Media Player?

As you can see, in the library all the song files are still within their folders...

And then, how do you "save" this library, so when you open the player that library will always be on display?

Thanks!

'Flat' folder view >
As far as I can tell, you can't. Simple as that.
Files are shown in the same structure as you've added them to the ML.
I really like it like that, but a matter of taste I suppose. I actually use a plugin in Winamp (Dynamic Library) to achieve this.

'Save' ML >
Hmm, well, mine seems to do that just fine all by itself?
When I add a couple of folders from around my system (by right-clicking in the Mediebibliotek window > Add Folder... > browse to a folder and 'OK' it), VLC seems to remember the added folders just fine if I close it, then start VLC again.

Og hold en pæn tone, tak, ellers er der helt sikkert ingen der gider svare dig overhovedet.
