1.1.2 - no video

1.1.2, xp sp2 - no video output, just black screen on all videos i tried - xvid, iso dvd, etc. Sound plays ok. Tried tinkering with video output modules, but changing it from default to directx, opengl or gdi changed nothing. No stderr error messages when started from console. Also vlc.exe process fails to terminate gracefully and has to be killed. 1.0.5 works fine. Any ideas?

Looks like it is caused by a broken cropping filter - when it is enabled in preferences-video filters it apparently crops everything regardless of settings, setting it to automatic cropping enables occational flashes of video - but that's the best it can do
