Dangerous Download from McAfee

Postby alicez » 16 Jul 2010 01:06

Tried to download VLC 1.1.0-win32.exe (19.5 MB) and got this McAfee/SiteAdvisor pop-up:

"Potentially Dangerous Download Detected! - In our tests, this download contained programs some people would consider adware, spyware or other potentially unwanted programs."

#1- Can someone explain what should be done?

#2- Also, can VLC be installed on this notebook if Windows Media Player is also installed. Can they both be installed, or will VLC cause problems for/with WMP?
