.mkv subs suddenly changed to bigger and wider font

Postby bumblebee » 11 Jul 2010 12:06

Hi,

I've been watching this anime series in the .mkv format with the same font style and size consistently throughout the 23 episodes...but the font style and size suddenly changed when I played the 24th episode. the spaces between the letters became wide and bigger and in addition to that, the usual 2-liner subs became 3-4 lines which covers almost half of the screen. Why is this so? Can somebody please help me with this? I am using VLC 1.1.0

Thank you

Maybe the subbers changed font styles?

I don't know...i tried playing the 25th and succeeding episodes and they are all ok except for the 24th episode. It seems highly unlikely that they'd suddenly change the font and in just one episode only...

You can easily verify that with opening the episode with MPCHC.
