I know that, but the problem is when you're watching a movie, that's very annoying.if vlc window is not in focus, then mutilmedia keyboard controls only affect windows volume , not VLc volume ( for me anyway).so just click outside of VLC window then adjust volume
That did nothing for me, it continually adjusted my windows/vlc volume even when I had it minimized. <.< Hopefully the issue is addressed in the next update, if not, it's not too big of a deal I suppose, 1.0.5 is still running stable with no issues in XP SP3. ;pif vlc window is not in focus, then mutilmedia keyboard controls only affect windows volume , not VLc volume ( for me anyway).so just click outside of VLC window then adjust volume
I do the same thing and that's exactly why this problem is annoying.I however do, sometimes I adjust it higher for "speech" and lower for "high pace action" scenes. Having it scale to full blast about gave me a heart attack the first time I used the Volume Wheel.
I'll do the sameI believe I'll stick with 1.0.5
+1This is a very frustrating problem. I just installed v1.1.1 and it's still not fixed. Is there any news about a potential fix?
