Blue turns red in screengrabs

Postby Suhndog » 03 Jun 2010 20:13

When I use the latest drivers for my ATI-based on-board graphics (HD 3300) and I do a screen-grab, the red colors turn bluish. I've tried using all the video ouput selections in prefs. but nothing works. I like using the screen-grab feature alot. VLC is my player of choice, and I'd hate to have to resort to another player for this purpose. I want to keep my motherboard up-to-date (Foxconn A7DA-S v. 1.1) and hope I don't have to resort to using older drivers unless necessary...

You restarted VLC after you changed video output modules?

You use VLC 1.0.5?

Sounds like what was happening to me. Go to Tools>Preferences>Video>Display>Output: Default

I had inadvertently changed this option to OpenGL and my colors were basically reversed like that too. Hope that helps.
