suddenly spdif won't work

hi,
suddenly i get just stereo sound, but the win7 test for dolbydigital and dts is working.
i already tried to reinstall vlc, deleted all settings. so i activated (sry for following, got german vlc)
"use s/pdif when available" and "win32 waveout extension-output" but still stereo sound.

does anyone got a clue what the problem could be?

***edit: works now.. after i downloaded realtek drivers.
