Problem with Mediakeys in windowed mode

Postby MaverickZero » 02 Apr 2010 23:18

Hello,
I noticed some strange behaviour when using VLC 1.0.5 in windowed mode.

When using the media keys for VolumeUP, VolumeDOWN or Mute, the key event is triggered twice, resulting in
the volume going up and down for a larger level than it should. This is especially annoying when using VLC on a laptop where you can only adjust the volume via media keys.
An even bigger problem is the mute button: Since the event is triggered twice, the mute doesn't work at all.

This problem does not occur while running in full screen or having VLC not as focused window.

Is this problem already known? Any solutions?

Yours

Known issue. Should be fixed in VLC 1.1.0
