Play demultiplexed streams together

Postby vlc-user » 11 Feb 2010 19:00

Hi there,
I have a movie in demultiplexed streams: myMovie.mpv and MyMovie.mpa
According to many docs around the web, it should be possible to play them by using the "Advanced Open File" dialog.
There, I first add the video file.
Then, I check the "Show more options" box, also the "Play another media synchronously (extra audio file, ...)" box.
I add my audio file to the extra media field.
At last, I click the "Play" button.

The video now plays without audio and there is no audio track to select.

What did I do wrong ?
Thanks and Regards,
Markus

Maybe. It isn't on top of priority list.

Which build did this break on?

IIRC it used to work better in some 0.9.x builds.
