Selecting Entire Folder: WMP Loads Files, Not VLC

Postby jdanniel » 12 Jan 2010 11:22

Hello.

I have a problem with VLC and would like assistance with it, please.

I've just installed VLC. I opted for Full installation. (I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium.)

I am using the CHAOS skin.

The file association for MP3 files is VLC, but WMA files are still set to Windows Media Player.

I opened up a folder containing MP3 files. I selected them, pressed ENTER, and they loaded in VLC.

The problem is this: I then opened a folder containing WMA files. I selected them, pressed ENTER, and they loaded in Windows Media Player.

Now, whenever I open any folders containing MP3 files, select them, and press ENTER, they, too, load in Windows Media Player. They should load in VLC.

What's weird is this: If I select one, or some, but NOT all of the MP3 files in a folder, they load in VLC.

Why do one or some MP3 files load in VLC, but not all of them?

Thank you.

Jd

Those folders have more than 15 files that you select?

Yes. Is there a limit to how many files I can select?
